The Kiwanis Club of
Casa Loma
of Service
The Kiwanis Club of Casa Loma, originally known as the Kiwanis Club of West Toronto, earned its name for saving the abandoned Casa Loma in 1937 and turning it into one of the premier heritage tourist attractions in the City of Toronto. For 74 years, the Club cared for Casa Loma and it used a portion of its management fees to fund an extensive program of community services.
Our service projects are guided by the Kiwanis International motto, “Serving the children of the world”. In 2021, the Club is celebrating its 100 years of service.
Serving the Children of the World
We are passionate about making a difference in our community. Helping kids grow and succeed is at the heart of everything we do.
- We work with many community partners to materially change the lives of children and their families through education, food security & performing arts.
- In our Service Leadership Program, Key Clubs, we mentor high school students to become leaders through volunteerism & service to others.
- We sponsor over 50 annual leadership and music scholarships and awards.
